Patent Databases

We organize an interactive training event on the utilization of public patent databases and other information systems for supporting one’s own product development.

During the course, we introduce the most important public patent databases, briefly discussing each of them. What type of information may be found from databases?

One of the key issues to be addressed is the understanding of patent publications and the correct interpretation of their scope of protection from the point of view of the company.

Having completed the course, the participants are able to search and map important technology and competitor information for their company from public patent databases.
