Trademark Attorney

Trademark Attorney Laura Roselius (LL.M) handles European, national and international trademark applications, and conducts searches related to trademarks and trade names. She gives consultation concerning infringement matters and opposition cases related to trademarks, for instance counterfeiting. She also prepares agreements related to trademarks and other IPR, such as license agreements, and engages in contract negotiations related to these. In addition, she gives advice in registration and infringement cases concerning domains and she handles design related matters.

Laura started working as a trademark attorney at BORENIUS & Co in 2000. She is also the head of the company’s international relations. Previously she worked as an examiner at the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland and as a lawyer in the industry.

Laura holds a Master of Laws, and has in addition fulfilled court training and earned the title Master of Laws trained on the bench. She has excellent language skills: she speaks Finnish, English and German in addition to her mother tongue Swedish.

Laura has been the secretary of the board of the Association of Finnish Patent Attorneys (2005 to 2006). She is also a member of the following associations: FICPI, ECTA, the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights and Juridiska Föreningen i Finland.

Laura’s hobbies include exercise and design.
