European Patent Attorney Lisbeth Söderman (M.Sc.) handles patenting of inventions related to ICT, especially telecommunications technology, and chemistry in Finland as a registered patent attorney and internationally – in the European Patent Office as well. She also participates in opposition proceedings, including oral proceedings at the EPO. In addition, she manages utility model applications.

Lisbeth came to BORENIUS & Co in 2008 through the business acquisition of Iprbox Oy. In the patent field Lisbeth has worked since the year 1984. Previously she has worked both as a patent attorney and with IPR related matters in the industry at several companies in the ICT field, for example in Sweden.

Lisbeth holds a Master of Science in process engineering. She has worked with inventions in the ICT field for many years and she also has further education in the IT field. In addition to her mother tongue Swedish, Lisbeth’s language skills include English, Finnish, German and French.

Lisbeth is a member of the Association of Finnish Patent Attorneys, Patentti-insinöörit ry (Patent Engineers) and Tekniska Föreningen i Finland r.f. (TFiF).

In her spare time, Lisbeth enjoys tennis, dance, spinning, theatre and popular science.
